Eulogy for Joseph Michael Olmetti
In our hearts forever young everyday I think we live in vain and in denial about what is really important to us in life. We work hard. Spend more and see less of our loved ones. Through all the pain and suffering I always ask why death is so final.
I remember my home was not just a foundation with four walls. It was the people who lived in it who made it a home. My father has always been a constant source of strength in my life and through his eyes I see my own. He and I speak the same language. It is not over yet. It will be a long time before I ever feel whole again. But I know there is a higher place. We will see each other again someday and his spirit will live on in me forever.
